Ultra Wideband 8 Way Multicoupler

The WSDU-1X8UR is an ultra-wideband multicoupler that distributes signals from a common input to 8 outputs. Due to its very high frequency range from 100 kHz to over 18 GHz, the device can be used very flexibly and is suitable for almost any application in the common industrial and end-user frequency ranges. Thanks to the robust 19" device design, the signal distributor can be used in any work environment and is excellently protected against mechanical damage.

Lossless signal distribution with ultra high bandwidth

The use of broadband amplifiers with very high dynamics enables lossless signal distribution up to 18000 MHz. Signals of different frequencies can be distributed with just a single cable. This allows instrument sharing to be operated, so that the device is ideally suited for use in the test field of larger production batches. This saves costs for RF cables, signal generators and their installation in building equipment.

Device monitoring

The device has a remote monitoring function so that device status and function parameters can be queried via LAN and USB interfaces and conveniently controlled via a user-friendly web interface. By default, the device has an LED on the front panel to indicate the device status.

Compact design

The WSDU-1X8UR can be combined with other devices and modules of the WSDU-U series to form larger distribution systems. This allows different customer-specific requirements for the number of channels and the output power to be implemented.

Applications

In addition to duplicating signals in the VHF and UHF range, the WSDU-1X8UR is also suitable for duplicating signals from the SHF range. This frequency range also includes signals from the WLAN standards IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, such as those used in V2V ("vehicle-to-vehicle") systems, among other things. For use in research and development (R&D), the device can duplicate test signals from different signal sources up to 18 GHz.
